This is part three in a series on educational resources and tools for bloggers. You can read parts one and two here.

So. You've read the books, followed some free classes, got the tee-shirt, but you're looking for some more personalised guidance on getting your blog the way you want it. Something where you can connect with a community of folks in the same place as you.

Something that you can get direct access and support from a teacher maybe, and that cuts through all the advice out there.

This is where online courses can find their place in a blogger's education.

There are LOTS of excellent courses on blogging on the market, so it can be tough to find one that fits your needs best. And finding a course that works for you can be a bother with so many choices and voices vying for your attention. The good news though, is that you have choices!

This third post in the series on educational resources for bloggers highlights a few of the best courses I have found that (A) don't have a heavy emphasis on a particular platform, and (B) have a wider perspective on the 'why' and the 'how' than the 'what'.

To me these are the more important aspects and are what I consider to be 'transferable skills' no matter the device through which they are applied.

All for under $200.usd.

::
One caveat to remember in all this:

In deciding which of these (or for that matter, any course) will suit your needs best, consider the tutor's own blogging niche and why they have achieved the results they have compared to your own situation.

For example, however fabulous a course led by a financial blogger might be, say, their strategies and methods are unlikely to work exactly the same for an artist's. Same goes for one who's instruction is all directed through a platform you are not using.

I think you get what I'm saying here.
